Forest Glade is a gated complex nestled at the foot of the Constantiaberg Mountains and under the watchful Elephant’s Eye. There are 103 semi-detached double-storey homes clustered into 5 Hamlets. Two remote control gates provide access to the complex from Tokai Road. Each home has a single garage and access to parking bays throughout the complex for residents and visitors. The complex is surrounded by a fence and boasts a unique, central field of some 30 hectares on which no development may take place
The Prinseskasteel River runs through this area and extensive rectification will occur in the near future, creating a beautiful sanctuary for birds, the endangered leopard toad, and residents and their pets. The field has a playground for children and is home to a variety of largely indigenous trees and shrubs. Forest Glade is managed by a Homeowners Association through an annually elected board and site and garden managers. A staff of eight maintain the extensive grounds.
